The Effect of Staying Up Late on Health

When you sleep, your body will automatically rest and produce energy and repair damaged body tissue. So that sleep has a very important role to improve your physical and psychological state. However, sometimes we forget, because it's so much fun playing games, shopping online or chatting until midnight, disturbing the quality of our rest or sleep.

While in children and adolescents, sleep is the time when the body will produce growth hormone. Therefore you do not underestimate the effects of staying up too often. Because generally humans need rest time of approximately 7-9 hours per day.

The Bad Effects of Staying Up Late

    Often staying up late has an impact similar to eating too much and rarely exercising. A person who often does it can experience excess body weight or obesity.

    Sleep itself is good for improving the function of the two hormones that are responsible for controlling hunger and satiety. If you are deprived of sleep, the hormone will decrease, so that the body constantly feels hungry.

  • Triggers a decrease in hormone
