According to UNICEF, one in ten girls miss school during their period, amounting to approximately 20% of the school year. At Nona Woman, we are committed to combating period poverty by promoting menstrual equity and ensuring that all individuals have access to the menstrual products they need.
Period poverty is a global crisis that requires collective action.

Biyung Indonesia is an organization and social enterprise established to encourage and strengthen women and individuals in achieving shared prosperity and environmental sustainability. One of Biyung Indonesia's focuses is to open safe spaces for all individuals to access the right to healthy menstruation, including education on menstrual health and training in sewing cloth pads and procuring cloth pads for vulnerable groups of women in urban, rural areas and women with disabilities in nursing homes.
